TOUR DETAILS & FAQ

Food Nook Tours is a local walking tour focused on showcasing the culinary delights & culture of locally-loved Toronto neighbourhoods

Tour Time

Our Roncesvalles tour kicks off at 2:30pm on Sundays and runs for 1.5-2 hours. If you are interested in a private tour, you can choose what time works best for you.

Tour Flow

We will guide you through Roncesvalles Avenue, sharing fun and captivating history about the neighbourhood. We stop at  five distinctive food shops and restaurants. At each stop you will be treated to food samples set aside exclusively for tour guests.

Tour Meeting Spot

We meet at 2201 Dundas Street West, just in front of the Starbucks (don't worry, that is not a tour stop.) This is where Dundas Street West departs and Roncesvalles begins. It is a five minute walk south from Dundas West Station or a five minute walk north from the Roncesvalles stop on the 506 streetcar and steps from the northbound 504 streetcar.

FAQ

What if it is raining?
Rain or shine, the tour will run. If the rain becomes a storm, we will duck inside one of the tour stops and allow the worst of the weather to pass.

What if I am running late?
If you are running late, please let us know by emailing us at foodnooktours@gmail.com and letting us know approximately how late you will be. If you are running more than 10 minutes late, please meet us at our first tour stop Chocolateria at 361 Roncesvalles Ave.

Where do we meet?
You can also find this information above in tour details and we will send you an email closer to your tour with all the important information.

Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?
We do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions. We let the tour stops know in advanced and they often are able to offer an alternative bite. If you do have a dietary restriction, please let us know when you book or when we get in touch with the tour meeting details and we'll do our best to accommodate.

Is the tour family friendly?
Yes, the tour is for all ages! Children under the age of 6 are free.

Are the tours wheelchair accessible?
Our tour is wheelchair-friendly with ramps and accommodating aisles at each stop, but the washrooms are not wheelchair accessible.

Can I book a private tour?
Yes, if you are interested in booking a private tour, please contact Owner and Chief Experience Creator Bria Weaver at foodnooktours@gmail.com to discuss and book.

I want to book a few months in advanced, but I don't see the date on your website. How do I book?
We post tour dates a few weeks in advance. If you would like to book a tour further in advance, contact Bria Weaver at foodnooktours@gmail.com and she'll make it happen.
